The Carson City Sheriff’s Office operates a modern jail (or detention) facility, completed in 1999, in Carson City, Nevada’s state capital. The jail’s visiting hours are:

• Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m.,
• Thursdays from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m., and
• Sundays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m.

Please note: If you plan to visit someone at the jail, you must be on the inmate visitor list, and must show a valid driver’s license or ID.
